Summanera is born from the union of ideas, experiences and a pinch of concrete madness of two friends: Francesco and Giovanni.
These two young people are the founders of the SUMMANERA company who personally manage with enthusiasm.

ACCADEMIA OLEARIA SRL

The Fois Farm was founded in Alghero, in the north-west of Sardinia, in 1890, cultivating its own olive groves in the countryside of the Alghero area. Today the farm and mill are managed, with dedication and passion by the FOIS family that directly follows all the processing phases, from the cultivation of olives to their transformation into quality extra virgin olive oil. It currently boasts an extension of about 230 hectares of olive groves with about 25,000 olive trees, mainly of Bosana cultivars and other native cultivars and 11 hectares of Vermentino DOC vineyards of Sardinia.The production and marketing of oils and wine takes place through the Company Accademia Olearia, owned by the Fois Family, which operates in a modern plant of over 4 thousand square meters, equipped with a photovoltaic system and processing plant for processing olives into peanuts (fuel used for heating) and which implements organizational methodologies capable of guaranteeing a high quality of the products. The company's mission is focused on: guarantee of healthiness and non-toxicity, safety of products and processes, improvement of management performance enhancement of ethical-environmental qualitative aspects, tradition with innovation

The Alessandro family’s roots are very old, steeped in history. With three brothers’ commitment and energy, Rosolino, Antonino and Natale, supported by their children Anna, Benedetto and Benedetto, their production model is based in the vineyard and in the good winemaking practices. They continue developing and improving their full-bodied wines, which are also delicate, refined and well-balanced, born between rows of vines and the passion of those who work the land.

APOLLONIO CASA VINICOLA

This is a story of land and passion, that of the Apollonio family; inextricably linked to the destiny of a winery by the same name and that today exports its wines to over 30 different countries around the world. It continues to produce wine using the same methods dear to its founders, while applying the most advanced technologies through the optimization of their production process, down to the marketing of its labels. The Apollonio winery’s history took root in 1870. Since then, particular attention has been paid to the valorization of Salento’s main grape varieties (mainly Negroamaro and Primitivo, but also Malvasia nera, Susumaniello, Bianco d’Alessano), to the careful selection of the types of wood used for the long ageing processes and to the strong link with the territory which has always been the champion of quality production.

The ArmosA estate was established in 2002, located at Scicli in South East of Sicily. The vineyards of “Nero d’Avola” were planted in different terroir chosen for specific soil and climate characteristics. The ArmosA philosophy is to make a Nero d’Avola wines, by growing this grape in a variety of terroirs in order to produce wines with a distinct personality. For the same reason all the wines are produced following a natural procedure without filtration in order to enhance the taste complexity and taste emotions.

distinguished by the search for quality in the vineyard, and
winery.
Following the organic protocols, the farm Avide, processes
about 300 tons of grapes each year, resulting from 40
hectares of vineyards.

AZ AGR TENUTA VIGLIONE DI ZULLO GIOVANNI

Tenuta Viglione is a family owned winery established in 1937 located in Puglia, Southern Italy, in the DOC Gioia del Colle. It has 150 hectares of vineyards at an average altitude of 450 m, and employs about 50 workers. The main grape is Primitivo, but there are also other indigenous grapes: Negroamaro, Nero di Troia, Susumaniello, Falanghina, Fiano, Verdeca and Aleatico. The whole production is organic, certified since 2005. The winery is endowed with advanced systems, but also oak barrels for aging reserve wines.

Our farm produces and markets certified IGT, DOC and DOCG wines, coming exclusively from our own grown grapes. The area where this small excellence was built is Irpinia, a territory that is hidden among the mountains of the Southern Apennines, famous for its wines: Aglianico, Taurasi and Fiano di Avellino and for other food products from a land with a great culinary value.

Il Poggio winery rises on a hill in Torrecuso, a small village in the province of Benevento, just one hour far from Naples by car. It is owned and managed by two brothers, Carmine and Marco Fusco, who grew up playing, then working, side by side in the vineyards of their family. Today they carry on proudly a long term winemaking tradition.
