Summanera is born from the union of ideas, experiences and a pinch of concrete madness of two friends: Francesco and Giovanni.
These two young people are the founders of the SUMMANERA company who personally manage with enthusiasm.

The Alessandro family’s roots are very old, steeped in history. With three brothers’ commitment and energy, Rosolino, Antonino and Natale, supported by their children Anna, Benedetto and Benedetto, their production model is based in the vineyard and in the good winemaking practices. They continue developing and improving their full-bodied wines, which are also delicate, refined and well-balanced, born between rows of vines and the passion of those who work the land.

Among the historical cellars of the Cerasuolo di Vittoria
Classico area, but also among the leading companies of the
eastern Sicily production, Avide has always been
distinguished by the search for quality in the vineyard, and
winery.
Following the organic protocols, the farm Avide, processes
about 300 tons of grapes each year, resulting from 40
hectares of vineyards.

Our firm produces a limited amount of quality wines and our strength is to carefully follow the entire production process, from the cultivation of the grapes to bottling and marketing of the wines.

A unique terroir, at 400 metres above sea level in the north-western coast of Sicily. This is where you can find the 10 hectares of vineyards belonging to the Rigogliosi family. A grape growing area with a colorful mosaic of soils and the influence of a typical Mediterranean climate that make wines with such an identity and an original character.

TENUTA SAN GIAIME

Tenuta San Giaime is a winery that produces mountain wines, we are in fact located at 1.000 meters above sea level. We are certified organic, and we produce indigenous grapes variety such as Grillo and Nerello Mascalese, but also Pinot Nero and Syrah.

VIGNA NICA DI MARIA GENOVESE

“Nica” is a Sicilian word meaning small. Vigna nica is in fact a small Sicilian vineyard in Sicily which started off with two hectares of land, which year by year has reached today’s acreage of almost five hectares. Our vineyards are located in the province of Messina, overlooking the Aeloian Islands and in the area where the Mamertino D.O.C. (Protected Designation of Origin) wine is produced.
