Orgosolo’s territory, in Sardinia, is one of the best for Cannonau cultivation. Our low yelds, (30 quintals per hectare) combined with bush trained vines gives to our wines a concentration and a refined style which really represent the Cannonau variety at its peak.
The soils are mainly composed of decayed granite, the climate is typically mediterranean, characterized by warm to hot, dry summers and mild to cool, wet winters. Vineyard interventions are minimal because our terroir is very windy, preventing the vines from the most common diseases.
Our vineyards have a total of 25 hectares divided in many plots which are located around the hills near Orgosolo village. Their altitude is between 300 – 700 meters above the sea level.
