The wines produced by Il Poggio are obtained only from indigenous grapes, vinified in purity. White wines are obtained from Coda di Volpe, Falanghina, Fiano and Greco grapes, while red wines from Aglianico grapes.
Carmine and Marco Fusco have decided to invest in the most modern winemaking technologies. They can count on the advices of Franco and Matteo Bernabei, two of the most skilled and authoritative consultants in the winemaking sector.
This decisions led to great success in the last years. Il Poggio wines are appreciated worldwide, from USA to Japan, and they have gained important accolades from critics, both national and international.
Among the others, we want to remark the 92 points assigned by James Suckling to our Coda di Volpe Sannio DOP 2020, Fiano Sannio DOC 2020 and Aglianico Sannio DOP 2018. 91 points to Falanghina del Sannio DOP and Falanghina Beneventano IGP 2020.
Furthermore, the wines have been awarded at Mundus Vini and Berliner Wine Trophy.
