AZ AGR TENUTA VIGLIONE DI ZULLO GIOVANNI

Tenuta Viglione is a family owned winery established in 1937. Giovanni Zullo, the present owner, is the third generation, and his son and daughter the fourth. Giovanni learned the vines growing and wine making from his father and grandfather, and brings on the traditions, balancing them with the cutting edge tecniques. Most of the family works in the winery, that is located in Puglia, Southern Italy, on the Murgian Hills, in the DOC Gioia del Colle. There are 150 hectares of vineyards at an average altitude of 450 m. The soils are generally limestone with a substrate of clay.
The winery is endowed with advanced press and cooled stainless steel tanks, but also oak barrels for aging reserve wines. We have autoclaves for producing sparkling wines. Recently, we've installed a new bottling line that automates operations from bottling to palletizing.
The total production is about 1.000.000 bottles per year. We sell in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.
